First time ever making a ripple blanket. The pattern is free and SUPER easy.
This blanket, and a few other things I'm going to make, are going to a young first time mom who has little to no support. The boyfriend upon hearing he was going to be a dad, split. The baby is due in March and other than what clothes my daughter gave her, the baby has nothing. Thankfully the baby will be almost exactly a year younger than my granddaughter so my daughter will be passing on her baby clothes to the new mom.
